A brief summary of the characters in Ah! My Goddess.
WARNING!!!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

Belldandy
Belldandy is a beautiful goddess who was called by a boy named Keiichi on the Goddess Helpline. She was ordered to grant one wish who ever comes upon that hotline. Keiichi thinking it was a joke wished that Belldandy would be hi girlfriend forever. His wished had been approved! Belldandy (even though this sounds weird) was named his property even though some people disapprove. Even though their relationship was a accident theyy learn to love each other more than they expected. When Belldandy loses a lot of power she can be up and moving again if she gets a good sleep.
Keiichi Morisato
Keiichi was the lucky guy who called the Goddess Helpline, got a goddess none the less a girl in a guys dorm to grant him a wish. Being short and in his opinion unatractive, he thought his sempai's were playing a joke on him so, he wished for Belldandy to be his girlfriend forever. Now realizing she really was a goddess once a blue beam shot out of her forehead, he finally figured out she was a girl in a guys dorm. So, he got kicked out of his dorm, moved into an old temple with Belldandy, his sister, and a few other goddesses he didn't expect.
Skuld
Skuld is Belldandy's sister who disaproves VERY much of Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship. With her powers, she creates all kinds of creatures to keep the two away from each other. Her plans always fail because she grows and sees he's not so bad but, would still like Belldandy to keep away from him. She moves in with Keiichi and everyone else to obviously stop the relationship before it starts. When she loses a lot of power, she regains health by eating ice cream.
Urd
Urd is another goddess that works with Belldandy. She is not her sister however, they are so close, all three of them are often called sisters. Urd uses her sexual appeal to keep Keiichi on his feet with Belldandy. She tells him to get closer while Skuld is telling him to get lost. She also ends up living with them. When she loses power, she regains strenth by drinking lots of sake.
Megumi Morisato
Megumi is Keiichi's younger sister by a year who had to move in with him when she had no where to go after signing up to go to Nekomi Tech, the same college as him. She is part of the auto racing club like Keiichi is and when she first arrived saved the day by giving him cash from their parents. She likes volleyball and thinks Belldandy is totally cool.
Peorth
Peorth is the fourth goddess to arrive with Keiichi and is also Belldandy's aunt. She is basically in charge of everything in the 1st goddess class. She is highly respected as a 1st class goddess by everyone.
Sora Hasegawa
Sora is a geeky nerd in Keiichi and Megumi's auto racing club who envy's Belldandy's cute charm ans cooking skills. She some what also is jealous that she is so close to Keiichi but is a good member of the club.
